After many years as a professional illustrator, James Crandall has re-dedicated himself to his fine art work, exhibiting in several national juried events including the OPA 19th Annual National and the California Art Club's 99th Gold Medal Exhibition.
This international group of artists represented in The Lure of Florence were drawn to this city, to study in these classical roots of art. The artists work directly from life, using models, daily objects and landscapes, each translating a unique vision of the Human experience. Working everyday back in their studios, these artists spend their life studying and observing the subtleties of their surroundings.
